Saint-Gobain Material Handler/Fork Truck Operator B Shift 3:30pm - Midnight in Buffalo, New York
Follow safe work practices while operating forklift.
Delivery and removal of materials to and from areas in need.
Work closely with employees in the department to proactively be aware of their needs.
Enter proper material moves in scan guns.
Performing STOP safety audits and entering data in Auditmatic (STOP Database).
Perform other tasks as requested by the supervisor.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITY:
Fork Truck certification (both electric stand-up and propane seated lifts).
Knowledge of scan guns use
Inventory/cycle count training
Must be able to stand and/or walk for the duration of the shift.
Must have the ability to push, pull and lift up to 25 pounds.
Highly motivated to work in a fast-paced environment.
Ability to effectively communicate with co-workers.
Flexibility to perform multiple tasks with the ability to prioritize these tasks.
Ability to keep areas organized.
Put away and clear any unnecessary materials and supplies from the area.
May be required to work outside in all types of weather.
Wear required PPE.
Follow all Company Policies.
Job functions will require standing for the duration of the shift, walking, bending, pushing, pulling, and lifting up to 25 pounds by self.
