We currently have an outstanding opportunity in our Clearwater, FL facility for a Human Resources Manager.
In this role you will be responsible for providing strategic counseling to the Leadership Team on all aspects of Human Resources. This position is also responsible for the implementation and administration of a wide range of Human Resources programs across 7 shifts and 100 + employee manufacturing facility.
This responsibility includes, but is not limited to employee relations, benefits, recruiting, Human Resource Information Systems, compensation, training, recruiting, employee retention and compliance with all applicable laws. In addition, the Manager will assist the Plant Manager and the Corporate Human Resource team with the implementation of strategic HR programs. This position reports to the Plant Manager and is a key member the Site Management Team in helping to achieve business goals and objectives.
This position has one direct report that will help in the day to day management of the employment process including recruitment, selection, placement, development, compensation, corrective action, discipline and termination along with the administering the use of temporary employees.
This role will also coordinate Saint-Gobain Coprorate programs such as the Employee Perfomance Apprasial, Merit Increase and Annual Incentive Programs as well as any other corporate programs.
The successful candidate in this position will have:
A Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources, Business or equivelent is required and a Master's Degree in a Human Resources discipline of Business is preferred.
The successful candidate will also need to have 5+ years experience in Human Resources within a manufacturing environment along with 2+ years managing other Human Resources professionals.
