As Quality Manger, you are responsible for the management, development and maintenance of the Quality Management System (QMS) and the Quality Assurance team for the Life Sciences business within the shared Garden Grove facility. Through guidance and leadership, the Quality Team supports the product development and manufacturing efforts of the electronics business, investigates any quality issues relating to raw materials or manufactured products, and drives continuous improvement activities. This role is responsible for the overall quality education within the Life Sciences business and ensures our QMS adheres to regulatory and company quality policies, procedures and operating guidelines.

This role requires a high degree of general business acumen overall and in the area of Quality. The position leads the Quality activities with strategic and tactical management of new and ongoing projects to improve overall quality efficiencies in order to meet our business and customer needs. Successful Quality management ensures compliance with product quality standards and clean room standards and will enhance our manufacturing processes in order to make sure we have consistent cost improvements.

This role will be the Product Compliance Officer for the Life Sciences BU within the Garden Grove site.

Required Qualifications

REQUIRED:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or a Science/Technical relate field (other BA/BS programs may be considered provided applicant has successfully completed fundamental math and science course work)

  • 8 years' experience in a regulated industry with preferred emphasis in life sciences (e.g. Semiconductor, electronics, automotive, aerospace, pharma, biopharm, or medical device)

  • 3+ years' experience in a Quality function with experience in Quality System design, development, and implementation

  • Supervision or management of people experience

  • Experience leading projects and project teams through root cause investigation and operational efficiency improvement initiatives

  • Semiconductor QMS Experience

PREFERRED:

  • Master's Degree in engineering, math, quality or business statistics

  • Six-Sigma/Lean Manufacturing Green Belt Certification

  • ASQ, CQE, CQT or CQA

  • Understanding of environment and cleanroom controls

Additional Description

Saint-Gobain aims to deliver a comprehensive Total Rewards package to support our employees’ wellbeing and help improve daily life for themselves and their families. We believe in the importance of pay transparency in what we offer prospective candidates and provide the national pay range for this position which is $99,900 to $154,800 per year, however, the base pay offered may vary depending on geographic region, internal equity, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors.

In addition to base salary, this position is eligible for an annual bonus. The targeted bonus amount is 13% of base salary based on company and individual performance measures. The Total Target Cash range (base pay and annual bonus) for this position, is $112,887 to $174,924 . Bonus payments are part of variable compensation and by nature can vary based on company and individual performance and is not a guarantee.
