The Customer Master Data (“CMD”) Analyst is responsible for providing technical expertise to effectively manage information across a complex matrix of systems, create actionable insights, and drive improvements to the customer master data process across Saint-Gobain in North America. The CMD Analyst will utilize a mix of technical, analytical, and interpersonal skills to identify opportunities and lead the Customer Master Data governance strategy forward.

This position requires a strong focus on governance and processes including standardization, automation, and streamlining of data. In this role, you must be a leader who is able to effectively manage data and communications across the organization with the ability to multi-task and reprioritize tasks based on deadlines and business requirements. You must be able to utilize all relevant systems and processes to effectively meet the complex needs of the organizations evolving data requirements. This position will focus on data management, data analytics and reporting.

This role is requires a working in a hybrid environment in our Malvern, PA office.

• Bachelor’s degree or relevant experience in the required field

• 3-5 years+ in a data management (or similar) role in a large, complex business environment

• Knowledge of the OTC (Order-to-Cash) processes; it is important to know what our stakeholders do and how the data is utilized up and down stream

• Strong systems aptitude. Experience working with enterprise technology: CRMs (incl. Salesforce) and ERPs (incl. SAP and QAD) Power BI, MDM among others

• Experience with large data sets and applications including analysis thereof

• Strong knowledge of and practical experience with internal controls is a plus

• Self-starter with critical thinking skills will lead data initiatives and drive activities independently

• Ability to solve complex problems that involve competing priorities; make data-driven decisions or recommendations and align decisions with strategies Considers the impacts of decisions on other parts of the organization

• Ability to identify/implement system and/ or process improvements

• Outstanding organization, communication, and presentation skills

• Ability to understand and analyze the “complete picture” incorporating all levels of CMD practices
