Job Summary
What's the job?
Reporting into the Training Manager, the Learning and Development Coordinator is a key member of the Learning and Development and Employee Experience team. This role directly impacts the success of the Learning and Development team and its ability to provide best-in-class service and development solutions to the business. The role will project manage and drive critical initiatives tied to our Employee Value Proposition in Learning and Development that directly impact the success of employees across all Saint-Gobain North America’s businesses.
Key responsibilities include:
Maintain full ownership of the North America learning management system (BOOST!) and professional development catalog
Maintain accurate and up-to-date training records and documentation—ensuring compliance and partnering with Saint-Gobain University
Support the reporting of course completion for various campaigns throughout the year (CSR, Compliance, Harassment Prevention)
Manage the access, troubleshooting, education, upskilling and communications for the community of local North America LMS admins as the Key Country Contact
Manage the professional development course offerings
Work with internal and external facilitators to schedule, communicate, and deliver trainings
Monitor the feedback and make recommendations for future course offerings
Monitor Talent Development email box—respond to all emails promptly, analyze training needs that come through and communicate these needs to Learning and Development management team
Partner with internal marketing communications to strategically deliver updates and new training opportunities to all employees across Saint-Gobain North America
Project manage Saint-Gobain’s Mentoring Program, in partnership with external vendor, MentorcliQ, from enrollments to communications to follow-up
Monitor engagement and make recommendations to increase enrollments, highlight success stories and help create a mentoring culture in the region
Track and deliver all budgeting and financials for all training-related activities on a monthly and annual basis
Work with vendors to support payments and contracts for professional services and trainings in a timely manner
Supporting projects that are tied to our employee value proposition with projects tied to the career pillar including journey mapping and competencies
Required Qualifications
What do you bring?
The position requires an acute attention to detail and ability to manage and own a project from start to finish. This position also requires the ability to manage multiple priorities and self-prioritize tasks. A crucial attribute is personal efficiency and effectiveness in managing the daily tactical tasks. The utmost personal integrity, strength of character and energy are givens.
Bachelor's degree in business administration, human resources, organizational development, or related field is required
3-5 years of experience in HR training, talent management, or talent development
Strong customer service skills, proven experience working with all levels of employees, including leadership, in a global matrixed organization
Strong technical skills or prior Learning Management System experience a plus
Ability to craft a project plan and complete a project life cycle
Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with experience leading meetings
Ability to create communication plans for training campaigns and offerings
Strong project management skills, including event and calendar management and coordination for corporate settings, and vendor relationship management
Entrepreneurial-minded teammate able to jump in, share innovative and new ideas, and work both independently and collaboratively on multiple competing priorities at once.
Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and follow-up
Excellent problem-solving skills and solution-oriented
Ability to work well under pressure and in an organization with a strong culture
