Saint-Gobain Sales Support Specialist in Malvern, Pennsylvania

As part of the CertainTeed Gypsum business’ sales team, the Sales Support Specialist will provide administration, analysis and support for improvement in functional areas of Price Management and Analysis for CertainTeed Gypsum in the US, under the direction of the Sales Operations Manager.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES

Pricing Adjustment Process & Reporting:

  • Sales analysis and metrics, Customer rebate analysis, and Sales reporting.

  • Review and enter customer programs, rebate letters and contracts into internal systems. Ensure accuracy and completeness of the information coming from the sales team.

  • Processes Price Approval Tracking for select customer programs.

  • Monthly customer reporting and analysis. Resource for pricing and supporting information for major nationwide customers.

  • Maintaining and updating region, territory mapping, territory description sheet, and master county code table

  • Price matrix administration, consolidation and proofing. Monitor and update special order pricing and RFP administration for national accounts.

  • Lead and direct pricing workshops for sales managers, including identification of customers for price improvement and outlier accounts for corrective action.

  • Administer and modify internal sales and incentive programs.

  • Manage the onboarding process of new sales team hires.

Sales Process Systems User Support:

  • Daily administration and support of Salesforce.com including managing users, customization of objects, fields, record types, page layouts and E-mail templates.

  • User Support for various Sales Systems and Applications (i.e. SFDC, QlikView, Callidus, SAP, etc.)

  • Develop and constantly enhance reporting from Sales Process Systems.

  • Work with IT development resources to further integration between Sales Systems.

OTHER DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Act as a liaison between Sales team and Pricing & Administration team.

  • Participates in Sales Team meetings.

  • Provides sales team technical and administrative support.

  • Performs other duties as assigned or requested by management.

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Finance or Engineering or the equivalent training which will provide a working knowledge pricing policies and strategies.

  • Minimum 3 years of experience in a technical role in a changing business environment.

  • Strong knowledge of SFDC is required, including working experience and thorough understanding of its structure.

  • Detail oriented and deadline sensitive.

  • Strong organizational skills and the ability multi-task and work on several projects at a time.

  • Communication skills, including online meeting management.

  • Requires adaptability and methodical/analytical problem solving skills.

  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite.

  • Strong interpersonal skills; must be a team player

PREFERRED OR DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Two (2) years of experience in pricing.

  • Strong analytical and critical thinking skills.

  • Ability to communicate in a timely critical and accurate way.

  • Experience with ERP operating systems (specifically SAP) and BI tools.

  • Results driven team player with good interpersonal skills and written and verbal communication skills to work effectively in corporate, manufacturing and team environments.
