We are looking for a motivated Entry Level Operators to join our team in our Wheatfield, NY location.
Entry Level Operators are responsible for the safe and efficient operations of all activities and machinery in an assigned area, which may include S5 mixing, Targa extrusion, Gen3/HiPal, HTB Dryer, Kilns and/or Crushing production areas. The priority is to ensure the service and quality of products on the production floor.
Required Qualifications
This position requires flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including 12-hour rotating shifts. Candidates must be available for both days and nights, as well as weekends. At times, overtime is required.
HS Diploma/Equivalent is required.
Candidates must have good communication skills exhibiting the ability to interact with others, as well as basic computer skills.
Previous forklift truck certification preferred.
Previous experience in a manufacturing work environment is preferred.
Mechanical aptitude including ability to use basic hand tools and recognize, troubleshoot, and make small mechanical repairs is preferred.
Additional Description
Quality testing and/or sample collection, accurate data collection and reporting, and troubleshooting skills are required.
Must follow standard operating procedures.
Works in a manner that is safe while continuously ensuring quality, production and performance expectations are met.
Consistent, proper use of personal protective equipment is required. PPE requirements, including but not limited to safety glasses with side shields, safety shoes, hearing protection, high visibility clothing, and dust masks.
Must follow all safety policies and procedures.
