Saint-Gobain Site Manager, Manufacturing Operations in Pharr, Texas
A seasoned leader with at least 10 to 15 years of industrial manufacturing experience. Must possess keen ability to navigate in complex matrix organization and successfully deliver performance expectations across two manufacturing plants at a large manufacturing site. Prior experience in a high UPC environment is desired and knowledge of continuous and discrete processing. Proven ability to be an outstanding coach and mentor, with succession planning and employee development skills.
Strong computer skills with expertise in SAP and Microsoft Office applications.

Minimum 10+ years progressive experience in industrial manufacturing.
Demonstrate knowledge of business acumen by building appropriate aspects of the business plans, budgets, and achieves goals and objectives
Excellent written and oral communication skills, with the ability to communicate at all levels of the organization
Fluency in spoken and written Spanish and English
Forward thinking and challenging the status quo
A Bachelor degree in engineering or a related discipline is required; Master’s degree a plus. Additionally, a thorough understanding of business (marketing, customer service, and finance) is required.
Ability to lead and manage change at a pace that is required to ensure business success.
Demonstrated experience and comprehension of routinely-applicable financial concepts; Site P&L, balance sheet, cost accounting, cash flow, capital management, inventory management and budgeting.
Comprehensive understanding of supply chain in a complex organization.

Ensure the execution of the daily production plan. Explains significant variances from the plan and provides leadership for improvements within the operations groups.
Demonstrated ability to take initiative, determine organization and set and communicate priorities as well as actionable problem resolution abilities.
Understanding of basic workings of plant equipment – mechanical/electrical exposure.

Strong leadership and managerial skills within a multi-site manufacturing business with the ability to positively influence others and excel in driving change. Demonstrable success in cultural 'turn around' a plus.
Proven record of success managing an organization encompassing several product lines over multiple shifts with diverse processes and products.
