Saint-Gobain Training Specialist in Remote, United States

What’s the job?

*The ideal candidate will reside in the central time zone*

-The Training Specialist will design, develop, and deliver our contractor and territory manager trainings across North America.

  • Flex your instructional design skills by developing the curriculum and job aids across our portfolio of Building Envelope products with a focus on low-slope roofing, below grade waterproofing, and air/vapor barriers.

  • Deliver trainings at our dedicated training locations and on job sites across North America.

  • Measure the effectiveness of trainings and skill retention with a focus on continuous improvement.

What do you bring?-

  • High School Diploma

  • College degree in education, training & development, or business administration, preferred.

  • 3+ years of applied professional experience in a training or instructional role.

  • 1 year of instructional or program design experience.

  • Background in construction materials, preferred.

  • Proficient in instructional design and MS Office software.

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced changing environment and coordination of programs and initiatives.

  • This role requires a high level of independence and self-motivation.

  • Demonstrated ability to establish rapport and build quality relationships through networking

  • Good interpersonal and problem-solving skills

  • Excellent presentation skills with good written and oral communication

  • Ability to travel up to 70% for trainings. -Primarily domestic and occasionally Canada.

  • Able to navigate varying outdoor temperatures and construction site terrain to deliver field trainings.

  • Bilingual in English and Spanish, a plus!-
