This is the ideal role for you if you:

  • Are an experienced Product Manager with technical aptitude and a sales mindset

  • Have experience in the Aerospace, Automotive and/or Electronica space

  • Currently function as a Product Manager in the tooling/consumable space

What you will be doing in this role:

  1. Strategic Planning: Develop and execute annual business plans and strategies for multiple product lines, ensuring alignment with divisional goals and objectives.

  2. Market Analysis: Conduct in-depth analysis to understand market dynamics, customer needs, and competitive landscape for assigned product lines.

  3. Product Development: Collaborate with R&D to identify opportunities for product enhancement and innovation, overseeing the development and launch of new products.

  4. Forecasting: Provide accurate sales forecasts and contribute to resource planning for R&D initiatives.

  5. Market Expansion: Identify and capitalize on new market opportunities to drive business growth and expansion.

  6. Project Management:strong: Lead cross-functional teams in new market development projects, guiding commercialization efforts for emerging product technologies.

  7. Technical Support: Serve as a technical expert, supporting product engineering teams and addressing customer inquiries to ensure alignment between customer needs and company capabilities.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or equivalent; MBA preferred.

  • 5+ years of experience in Product/Market Management or Sales/Marketing Management.

  • Strong understanding of finance, costing, and R&D functions.

  • Advanced technical knowledge and expertise in product applications, technology, and design.

  • Proven track record of driving product profitability and market success.

  • Expertise in project management concepts/tools

  • Experience in leading projects in a cross-functional team

  • Skills in the acquisition of data and use of reason, logic and analytical techniques

  • Communicates effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders

  • Knowledge of Construct Products (equipment and blades)

  • Understanding of standard costs, bills of materials and general accounting concepts

  • Familiarity with Microstrategy and/or Power BI for pulling data and reports
