Saint-Gobain Internal Controls and Finance Intern in Worcester, Massachusetts
We are seeking an Internal Controls and Finance Intern who will support the Performance Ceramics and Refractories plants in executing action plans identified to improve the business controls environment
The position involves working with different departments (such as Sales, Customer service, Production Planning, Facilities, Controlling, Engineering and General Management to name a few) under the leadership of the Finance Director.
The job will require interviewing key stakeholders, doing assessments, process flows, identifying gaps and mitigating controls using the company’s internal control manual
The endeavor will also lead to the implementation of an internal e-tool called Zeus to assign ownership of controls and execution of action plans to the relevant department
Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint
Able to function independently or with teams within different levels of the organization
Working on Bachelor’s degree, B.A., B.S. or equivalent degree
Experience in operations or audit/finance functions as an intern, apprentice or equivalent capacity
Able to work about 20 hours a week within an 8 am to 5 pm timeframe.
