We are looking for a SAP MM Expert Consultant for our local subset in Worcester, Massachusetts.

This successful candidate will join an international project team to rollout a SAP core model for the Ceramics Material (CMA) business units (30 sites, 11 countries) over the next 2 years.

During this period, this successful candidate will be taught the CMA core model design by our experienced consultants. He/she shall then ensure that the SAP system is configured to meet the requirements of the business on topics linked to supply chain, logistics and purchasing, both locally and globally and shall work with users to understand local requirements and define how the core model will support them.

After completion of this rollout project, he/she will join the IM Digital IT global organization to ensure the IT support to the business and/or being involved on other challenging projects.

Specific duties include:

  • Implementing the CMA MM model by applying the IM Digital IT methodology.

  • Finding the best solution to answer to a request/implementation respecting CMA core model and system integrity.

  • Estimating the workload (in terms of customizing, development, training and documentation) after detailed gaps analysis completion and requirements gathering.

  • Reporting, following and advising to the IM Digital IT management for efficient decision making.

  • Delivering the solution (customizing, development, training and documentation) in the time scheduled.

  • Coordinating data collection and migration.

  • Communicating to the business the options found and the one advised plus time scheduled.

  • Serving as the first contact to the business customer as adviser and issue solver.

  • Being the interface between the customer and the technical team.

  • Operating within the framework of the 18 ITAC “IT Application Controls” (audit control) for all IM Digital IT Projects and Implementations.

  • Postgraduate with a master in Computer Science or Engineering.

  • At least 5 years’ experience in SAP MM with working knowledge of Supply Chain, Logistics and Purchasing.

  • Required experience in various projects (rollouts and support).

  • Good understanding of integration with FI, SD, PP and CO.

  • Experience with SAP QM will be highly appreciated.

  • Prior experience in an international context with offshore teams.

  • International traveling may be required.

  • Experience to navigate effectively within a matrix organization.

  • Autonomous with a constant view of continuous improvement and customer satisfaction.

  • Excellent personal communication, team work and organizational skills.

  • Authorized to work lawfully in the U.S. for Saint-Gobain without requiring company sponsorship for employment visa.
